Week one is done. I have almost 2 bobbins of finely spun worsted merino silk top. I have decided to let them rest on their bobbins for a few days, and move onto a second spinning project. Just as the tour shifts through different stages over mountain ranges, through rural countrysides and urban streets, I too have decided that variety will be the spice of my fleece tour as well.
I have dug deeper into the stash, and found 2 top knots from Aurelia Wool. These are merino / halfbred / corriedale slivers, which I think will make a beautiful 3 ply sock yarn, or scarf.
